Grief Support Services Brochure Design

I was happy to be asked to help with this project, as I have found from personal experience the work they do is priceless and so important.

Grief Support Services reached out to me to assist with their brochure design.

Despite their efforts to update it in-house, the design didn't quite capture their vision. They felt they needed a "professional eye" to bring the brochure to life.

Bringing a professional touch to the brochure.

Utilising the images they had already sourced, I made subtle tweaks to enhance the overall design. One of the first changes was standardising the typefaces and adding more space, creating a cleaner and more cohesive look.

A sympathetic colour palette.

The existing brochure design heavily featured red and orange, which felt too harsh and unsympathetic for the subject matter of grief and suicide.

I updated the colour palette to include shades of green, representing healing and growth. This new palette felt much more sympathetic and was easier on the eye, aligning better with the sensitive nature of the brochure.

As a Tauranga graphic designer, I understand the importance of creating designs that resonate emotionally with their audience. This project with Grief Support Services was a meaningful opportunity to apply my skills to a cause that truly makes a difference.
